About the Journal

The Journal of Physical Intelligence (PIJ) is dedicated to the rapid dissemination of important research results to the global community working at the intersection of physical systems and intelligence.

The journal’s scope encompasses physics-grounded AI systems, world models, small AI models, agentic data pipelines, robotics and embodied intelligence, trustworthy sustainability systems, and the design of AI that operates under real-world physical, energy, and governance constraints.

PIJ is a scholarly, open-access journal. Volume 1 is a complete published issue of five research articles. Articles in press are not published and are not counted toward a complete issue.
