Instructions for Authors

These instructions apply to all submissions to the Journal of Physical Intelligence, including papers intended for a complete published issue.

Scope

PIJ publishes original research articles in physical intelligence, world models, embodied intelligence, robotics, and trustworthy sustainability systems. A complete issue requires a minimum of five published research articles. Articles in press are not considered published.

How to submit

1. Create an author account and log in to your personal site.
2. Use Submit an Article and upload a PDF.
3. Confirm compliance with the PIJ Ethics Code.

Manuscript requirements

• English-language research article with title, authors, affiliations, abstract, and references.
• PDF format; typically 8–40 pages.
• Methods and data sufficient for a specialist to evaluate the claim.
• Ethics statement covering human subjects, dual-use, and environmental impact where relevant.

Page charges

PIJ does not charge submission fees, article processing charges (APCs), or page charges. Publication of accepted research articles is free of charge to authors.

There is no charge per printed or PDF page. Color figures, supplementary files, and open-access distribution are included at no cost.

Manuscripts are published by Ethical Technologies for Humanity, Intelligence, and Sustainability Ltd. (ETHIS Lab). The offices of the publisher are located in New York, New York, United States.
